A thought from an empty head, Drone Warfare.
Drone Carriers…
When I posted about drone carriers at Lop, I thought along the lines of using surface combatant ships to project power as a continuation of the US Navy’s MO over the last 80 years since World War 2.
But recently the Australian Navy revealed that our Ghost Shark drone is intended to be used interoperably with the upcoming Aukus submarine platform as the Aukus submarine acts as an underwater “carrier” of Ghost Sharks which in turn will launch other smaller drones as well as launching special forces into their missions giving Australia the capability to be an underwater superpower.
So why not use similar drones like the Ghost Bat as drone carriers for smaller drones. One Ghost Bat could launch 15 smaller disposable drones as use those smaller drones to attack antiaircraft sites.
But imagine Iran seeing the publicly available capabilities of the Ghost Shark and thinking about launching smaller drones from their Shahed to target the smaller crude tankers transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
Using one Shahed to drop 15 armed drones in an area populated by small crude tankers would lower the amount of small tankers transiting the Strait which would affect President Donald Trump’s hopes of keeping both houses of Congress.
But another point is, the faithful old B-52 Stratofortress could easily act as an aerial as a platform for launching aerial drones, providing those drones have a 500 to 1,000 mile range.
Ukraine is the world’s best proving ground for drone forces, America would be served quite well by an association with Ukraine.

The Great Oil Split Has Begun || Peter Zeihan
This is a 6:18 minute YouTube video about how half the world's oil supply has gone offline due to the Iranians blocking the Strait of Hormuz, the Houthis blocking the Red Sea and Ukraine decimating the Russian energy complex.
Peter states that with Canadian crude not being able to go anywhere apart from the US due to a tanker shortage their pipeline to the Pacific is effectively useless.
With US crude staying in the US due to the tanker shortage.
And with Venezuela's oil going to the US as the US is Venezuela's main importer.
All this puts a ceiling of $70 USD on energy in the US, while Europe pays a minimum of twice that aka $140 USD and East Asia and Southeast Asia pays whatever they have to.

I can see Australia "making do" with our domestic oil supply with a broad adoption of Chinese EVs including E-Mobility devices such as legally compliant E-Bikes, E-Scooters and E-Skateboards powered by solar.
Due to my time in my tent in 2023, I've got enough camping stuff. (My 75L camping fridge/freezer, 4 days worth of charge in LiFepo 12v batteries for the 75L fridge and a 300watt folding solar panel to power it!
As well as a camping power station and soon a 120watt solar panel for it to charge my E-Bike.
My 10watt small solar panels and power banks for my iPhone/Mobile Broadband, my Nintendo Switch as well as my iPad/Raspberry Pi to troll Lop!
