There's not much Musk can do until he identifies all the people on welfare and differentiates them from Military and First Responders.

If Musk puts a blanket block on payments, he'll cut the wrong payments...

The two factors in the US projecting power as everydood knows is the Police for domestic power and the Military for international power projection. However those are not the only two essential services.

The healthcare is necessary because everyone who voted for Trump needs it to be there should they require it and Trump changing the Constitution to allow a third term won't matter if he annoys his base...
